Recycled timber frame with natural finish.

Mulbury only use naturally-aged, rescued/recycled timbers to make our hand-crafted picture frames. The timber is mainly Victorian Ash Hardwood, which was grown locally many years ago, and is found in Australian native eucalypt forests.

Every frame has its own unique character. The irregularities are considered to be part of the design and not a defect. Our frames typically boast old nail holes, knots, gum veins, shakes and splits, and some even have old hand-made nail heads that have been sanded back.

Mulbury have up-cycling timber for over 15 years.
