Energy Rebates
There are a number of government-funded rebates available that can help reduce the cost of improving your home's energy efficiency. In many cases the rebate will cover the entire cost - effectively making it free to make significant reductions in your energy usage (and energy bills!).
The kinds of things that may be covered by a rebate include:
- Installing insulation in the ceiling.
- A solar or heat pump hot water service.
- A solar booster for your gas hot water service.
- Replacing your electric hot water service with a gas hot water service.
- Purchasing energy efficient whitegoods.
